UTPA’s Continuing Education (CE) extends the education resources of the university to best meet the learning needs of the Rio Grande Valley. With a mission to facilitate life-long learning through high-quality, non-credit education services, CE works closely with university’s academic departments to develop and administer various CE offerings. A component of the Division of Academic Affairs, the Office of Continuing Education provides individuals the opportunity to enroll in courses for professional development, continuing education, test preparation, certificate and personal enrichment. Admission to the university is not a requirement for continuing education programs since the courses are primarily used for professional improvement and certification purposes.
