These classes are usually for upper classmen such as Jr. & Sr.’s. Check with class department for verification if there are exemptions

Where and when can I get my Registration Access Code (RAC) number?

The way to receive a RAC # is through advisement.  Mandatory Advisement takes place during Fall and Spring Semesters. FRESHMEN must receive advisement from AAM Center or Faculty Advisors. SOPHOMORES receive advisement from AAM Center Professional Guidance Counselors or Faculty Advisors.   Upper classmen receive advisement from Faculty Advisors assigned through their major department.

Can I get my RAC number if I call the department?

No, it is best to call and make an appointment with a Faculty Advisor (Jr. and Srs.) or with the PGC (So.)

Can the RAC number be mailed to me?

The RAC numbers may be mailed to upper classmen after the last day of Mandatory Advisement.

What if I forget my PIN number?

You can get a PIN to activate your email at the ID Center on the 2nd floor by showing a photo ID. PINs cannot be given out in any other way in the Dean of Students office. As an alternative, you can also get a PIN from the 1st floor of the Academic Services Building.

What is the difference between a RAC and a PIN number?

RAC is the Registration Activation Code and a PIN is the Personalized Identification Number. The RAC # changes twice a year (Fall and Spring).  The PIN will remain the same unless changed by the student.  The Student ID# and PIN are needed to access resources on the ASSIST.  The RAC# will also be needed in order to register for classes.
