The Small Business Development Center (SBDC) is a collaboration with the U.S. Small Business Administration, The University of Texas-Pan American, and public and private partners throughout deep South Texas.
SBDC provides a wide array of management and technical assistance to business owners and entrepreneurs to strengthen business performance and sustainability.
Small Business Development Centers do not charge for consulting services and can meet with clients at the center or at the business site.
The SBDC also provides business training to meet the community's needs. The SBDC holds numerous seminars on business-related topics throughout the year on an incredible array of topics, ranging from pre-business planning to marketing, bookkeeping, accounting, and management. These seminars are designed for new and existing small business owners and managers to acquire the information that they need to make their business more successful.
Seminars are free or reasonably priced to enable all potential participants to attendd.
