Can I transfer my financial aid to/from another school?
If you are planning to transfer from one educational institution to another, you must ensure that the results of your FAFSA are sent by the Department of Education to the educational institution that you are transferring to. If this was not done when the FAFSA was first completed, you can call the Department of Education at 1-800-433-3243 to request that this be done.
Most financial aid awards cannot be transferred from one institution to another. You should make an appointment to meet with the financial aid advisor at the school that you are transferring to in order to find out what awards can and/or cannot be transferred.
