Extended Family Membership
The UTPA Extended Family Membership is a benefit provided to UTPA students, faculty/staff, and alumni.  Extended Family Members include the mother, father, brother, and/or sister of a current UTPA students, faculty/staff, or alumni.  The Extended Family members may purchase WRSC membership privileges for $50.00 per summer session (2 summer sessions = the entire summer) as long as the student, faculty/staff, or alumin member is affiliated with the WRSC.

The department of Wellness and Recreational Sports mission is to provide a wide variety of opportunities to enhance the quality of life for a diverse University community.

Goals:

The department of Wellness and Recreational Sports continually strives to provide an exceptional environment of Wellness and Recreation in order to facilitate increased student involvement in the university community. We accomplish this through:

  • Fostering a collaborative relationship with other departments and organizations in the university community

We strive to connect, inform, and inspire students and the university community with the best holistic campus Wellness and Recreational Sports Programs that are based in an enjoyable, social, educational and totally inclusive environment.
