The Department of Rehabilitation has two long term training grants from the Rehabilitation Services Administration.
The grant provides for scholarship support to majors admitted to the Bachelor of Science in the Department of Rehabilitation. Recipients must be formally admitted juniors and seniors. The grant provides for a stipend of $400.00 per month for nine months (Sept thru May) and $800.00 for the Fall and Spring semesters for tuition. The total award is $4,150 per academic year.
The purpose of this grant is to encourage students with significant financial support to work in public rehabilitation or related not for profit agencies. There is an employment obligation for recipients of this support.
