Financial Aid
Although departmental financial assistance may vary in any given year, Research Assistantships (RA) totaling $18,000 for fall/spring semesters are offered on a limited basis. The Department may also have summer RA monies, and students are encouraged to inquire about these opportunities. Receiving a RA for the full amount requires students to work on campus 20 hours per week. In certain instances, part-time assistantships may be available. The Department also anticipates a limited number of Rehabilitation Services Administration student stipend scholarships. These would typically pay tuition and fees in addition to providing $1000 per month living expenses for 12 months. There is a payback component with the RSA scholarship, students should contact the Ph.D. Coordinator or Department Chair for further information. Additional information regarding other forms of financial aid should be directed to the University Financial Aid office.
